Outlook is mainly email; however it also includes task manager, contact manager, a calendar, note taking, a journal, and web browsing. This application works alone or with Microsoft SharePoint Server and Microsoft Exchange Server, for multiple users within an organization; for example, shared mailboxes, calendars, Exchange public folders, meeting schedules and SharePoint lists. Third-party add-on applications are also available that integrate Outlook with Blackberry mobile phones and Office and Skype internet communication. Developers have the ability to create the own software custom to work with Office and Outlook components by using Microsoft Visual Studio.
