Google Inc. specializes in Internet- related services and is an American multinational corporation. With Google you are allowed to search, cloud compute, and have software and online advertising. Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded Google while earning their PhD at Stanford University. With such rapid growth there has been a chain of products and partnerships beyond the core Google search engine. Some examples being email, instant messaging, the Android, Google Chrome, Google+, Picasa, maps, GTV, YouTube, and many more. It has been estimated that the corporation runs more than 1 million servers in data centers all around the world and in 2012 was the most visited website in the world. It is also estimated the Google processes over 1 billion search requests every day. The Google search engine is the corporation’s most popular service. Google works by indexing billions of websites, so when the user searches using keywords, they can receive the information the desire. Most of Google’s profits come from Adwords. Google formed Google.org, a non-profit organization, with a start-up fund of $1 billion in 2004. The goal was to create awareness about global public health, global poverty, and climate change.
