Google Docs is a web-based  office suite offered by Google at no cost currently. It is part of the service called Google Drive. This is the online storage that able to be share with others. this makes sharing and controlling the documentation centrally located. The user can create users and create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Google Docs combines many of the Microsoft Word features of so there is a familiar patter top the content.

Past features included Data storage of files up to 1 GB on January 13, 2010, That has been increase to 10 GB, documents using Google Docs native formats do not count towards this quota.  This cloud storage feature by Google has been replacing most of Docs’ features in 2012
